Download your Aftercare guide here:

How long will it take to add extensions to my own hair?

This usually depends on the method and the thickness of the client’s hair and the desired result.

A full head Micro Ring and Nano Ring application usually takes around 3 hours and a half head application around 2 hours.

The installation of a Weave usually takes 1-2 hours including cut, styling and finish.

Will extensions damage my hair?

Don't worry, professionally installed hair extensions do not cause any damage to your own hair.

I guarantee that your hair will not be damaged if you look after them properly and follow

our after care advice.

How do I look after my extensions properly?

Here is some aftercare advice that is essential to get the best out of your extensions:

-brush your hair at least 3 times a day with a hair extension brush.

-use sulphate free products such as hair extension shampoo and conditioner.

-always blow dry your hair with a hair dryer after washing your hair.

-don't brush your hair when its wet, blow dry your roots till they are dry. That prevents your bonds from softening.

-put your hair in a pleat before going to bed to avoid tangled hair.

-use heat protection before using styling tools.

-attend regular maintenance appointments to move your extensions back to the roots. That is how you prevent your hair from getting matted.

- never go to bed with wet hair.

You will get a full and detailed after care guide after your fitting.

What are the best products to use on my Hair Extensions

I can really recommend to use a good Hair Oil. My Impressive Hair Argan Oil Serum is a great choice, you can purchase this from me for £10 and it will last you ages.

Use a couple of pumps and massage it into your towel dry hair after you washed it. Than blow dry your hair and you will feel how soft your hair is. Hair oil really keeps your extensions in best condition.

Always use heat protection before using styling tools. My Shake&Protect Spray is a real game changer. It protects and conditions your hair and will leave it smelling lovely.

Do I have to use extension shampoo, conditioner and brush?

I highly recommend to use shampoo and conditioner that is designed for use on Hair Extension.

You can find my Impressive Hair products here, these are specially designed to use on hair extensions. Most high street products contain silicone and sulphate based ingredients which can cause the bonds to weaken and to break down. It is essential that you condition your extensions to keep them healthy. However, avoid conditioner on the roots (bonds) as it can cause your extensions become weak and soft.

I do offer a hair extension shampoo and conditioner set for £20.

Brushing your extensions is very important and essential for your after care routine. You should always use a hair extension brush as this will stop the bristles from getting stuck in your bonds. Normal hair brushes will not get through to your scalp and therefor your hair could get matted.

I offer hair extension brushes for £10 here.

Can I use a hair dryer, straigtener and other styling equipment?

Your hair is 100% human hair, which means you can straighten and curl your hair as you wish. However, it is advisable to use the Shake&Protect heat protection spray to protect your extensions from damage. Other styling products such as hair spray, gel and serum can be used but should not be applied to the bonds as it can cause slippage and might weaken them.

What do I have to keep in mind when I go on holiday?

When you go on holiday to hot countries, keep in mind that the sun will dry out your hair very quickly. Make sure that you keep it nourished. Try to keep your extensions dry. Avoid to get your hair in contact with pool water as it can contain chlorine, which can cause damage to your extensions and even discolour it sometimes. Give your hair a deep treatment throughout your holiday and upon return. Cover your hair with a hairband if you stay in the sun for a long time. Same as your own hair, extensions can get lighter when exposed to sunlight. I always advise NOT to get a fresh set of extensions just before you go on a summer holiday.
