A bit about me:

My name is Mona and ​I am the founder of Impressive Hair Extensions, a Hair Extension Service in Coventry.
​
I always struggled with very thin hair that never seemed to grow. I got my first set of hair extensions in 2010 and I felt like a different person. It truely gave me confidence. Over the years I tried all kinds of extensions and different typs of hair. Whilst I was happy with the service and the hair quality, I wasn't too happy with the salon prices.
Over the last years, I put a lot of my time into research and training to create a service that is honest and focused on my clients needs so that they get the best service for the best price.

I am qualified in Micro Rings, Nano Rings and Braidless and Micro Ring Weave. I also offer Hair extension removal. I work from my little home Studio in Tile Hill..

Nano Rings
Installation Time: 1.5 -3 hours
Maintenance required: every 6-9 weeks depending on natural hair growth.
Suitable for: Fine to medium hair
How it works: Nano Rings are perfect for ladies with normal to thin hair types. The Nano rings share the same application technic as micro rings. It is the smallest and most innovative way to apply hair extensions currently on the market. These extensions are very comfortable, and the rings are so tiny, they are almost impossible to detect. There is no heat, no glue, and no chemicals used in the process.

LA Weave /Micro Ring Weft
Installation Time: 1-2 hours
Maintenance required: every 6-8 weeks depending on natural hair growth.
Suitable for: Medium to thick hair.
How it works: La Wave combines a micro ring attachment and a hair weft. Micro rings will be attached onto your own hair. The weft will be gently sewn onto the rings.
The micro ring wefts combine a micro ring attachment and a hair weft. After the weft of hair is placed horizontally against the head, small sections of your natural hair and hair from the weft are gently pulled through the micro rings which are then clamped to secure the weft in place.

Micro Rings
Installation Time: 1.5 - 3 hours
Maintenance required: every 8-10 weeks depending on natural hair growth.
Suitable for: Medium and Thick hair
How it works: Micro Rings are perfect for ladies with normal to thick hair types. We use tiny copper rings place the extensions inside them, and then gently attach them onto your natural hair. There is no heat, no glue, and no chemicals used in the process. Special care is taken putting them in and taking them out, so that they don’t damage your natural hair in any way.

Tape in hair
Installation Time: 1- 1,5 hours
Maintenance required: every 6 weeks depending on natural hair growth.
Suitable for: Very fine to medium hair
How it works: Tape-in hair extensions are an excellent choice for those who want versatility as well as longevity in regards to hair extensions. They aren’t damaging if properly installed, removed, and cared for. They look completely natural and blend seamlessly. Tape in hair is a great choice for ladies with very fine hair as they lay completely flat on the scalp and blend in completely with your natural hair. 4cm wide wefts are applied back to back, with the clients hair sandwiched in between.

Maintenance
When wearing human hair extensions it is essential to understand the importance of keeping up to date with maintenance appointments, as this will ensure that your hair stays healthy and your hair extensions look as good as new throughout the time you are wearing them. The maintenance uplift method is the process of unclipping each bond, and moving it back up the hair so that it is repositioned to its original placement. We will also replace every ring with a new one and rebound your tips if needed. Maintenance appointments will take similar amount of time as the fitting.

Consultation
A consultation is required before every fitting. During the consultation we talk about your wishes! How would you like your hair to look like and how we can achieve that. We colour match your hair and discuss how much hair is required. It is also the perfect opportunity to ask us everything you would like to know about extensions.
Russian Hair
All hair we use is 100% double drawn human hair. Every strand is beautiful thick from top to bottom and can be reused many times with correct aftercare and regular maintenance appointments.

Russian hair is one of the best quality hair on the market and can last you longer then 9 months with correct care. The hair is of a fine density, like your own hair so it sits and moves lightly and naturally with your own hair. It can be straitened, curled and styled as you desire.

What does double drawn mean?
If you are looking for the best hair extensions, you want to make sure you are purchasing double drawn hair. Double drawn hair is as thick at the ends as it is at the top. Double drawn hair undergoes a second process of selection, making it more superior. Shorter hairs are removed by hand and not by a machine. Sometimes this is also done by giving the hair a straight cut before selling them on their actual lengths. This allows for the hair to have a sense of uniformity because the top is as thick at the tips. You are guaranteed with a healthier-looking hair with solid length until the end.
